After conducting an interview with the organisers, I was asked to judge at the 9th annual Mr and Miss Gay Gauteng - arguably the most prestigious regional gay pageant in SA. It was a blast and I learnt so much.

All the contestants were male - men that looked like men and men that looked like women (drag artists.) I was amazed at the drag artists. For some, it was completely obvious that they were not women...others, however, were drop-dead gorgeous women! I have to admit, during the swim wear section, curiosity got the better of me and I just didnt understand where certain things went.

The before party, on Friday night, also proved to be highly educational and entertaining. A long day of work (live broadcast from one of 213 car dealerships in Boksburg) followed by much needed drinks, which turned into a great story telling session...and Im not to sure what else happened. Great evening!
